ABOUT

Conserve Africa Now (CAN) is a student education program that works with American Universities and researchers in Southern Africa. Dr. Stephen and Maggie Lee established CAN with the goal to bring animal conservation through research and education to areas in Africa that have been historically neglected. Countries like Botswana, Namibia and South Africa have enormous wildlife populations that are disappearing.

With over 20 years of field research experience and major government project development, the Lee’s through CAN, provide impactful opportunities abroad where there is a significant need that no one else is addressing. By working with Universities and local governments CAN facilitates research directed to saving and preserving animals throughout Southern Africa. The education programs offered provide unique immersive cultural experiences for both students and volunteers.

“Thank you for reading about our efforts. With your help we CAN create sustainable change in Africa while saving endangered species from extinction. Please feel free to contact us regarding ways to get involved.” - Dr. Stephen Lee, Co-Founder Conserve Act Now
